
About Bethany
Bethany Carns is a senior at Rowan University, one of the few institutions in the United States to offer a B.F.A. in Biomedical Art and Visualization, and will graduate summa cum laude in May 2026 with a minor in Biological Sciences
Her academic experience spans scientific illustration, digital and traditional media, sculpture, and 3D modeling, supported by coursework in biology and anatomy. This interdisciplinary training has allowed her to develop a versatile skill set and a strong foundation in both art and science
Bethany’s work is particularly focused on medical and anatomical visualization, with a growing interest in anaplastology. Her portfolio includes a range of projects completed through coursework and independent study, demonstrating both technical precision and creative problem-solving. She is currently seeking opportunities in medical and scientific visualization, clinical environments, and applied healthcare settings where visual communication can support education, patient care, and overall understanding.
